Right now the limit is set to max 3. With this new feature, you're able to show up to 6 statuses.

You can now add multiple statuses to the roadmap, plus, on top of that: you can rename each column and determine what statuses that need to be shown in that exact column. So you can create columns with multiple statuses from each board 💪 (Go to Dashboard -> Roadmap -> Status.)

I know! :) It will actually be a combination of creating your own columns (status name + color + selecting all the statuses you want in this column) as well 💪

Yeah, that’s kinda the idea of design B. You can swipe or scroll to the right and see the other columns. Is that what you mean?

I agree with Eelco. A horizontal scroll (without having to click a carousel arrow) as it exist on a large trello board would be great
but I would still think that the carousel arrow setup would be preferred over stacking columns. I've seen other feedback for having infinite scrolls and such which I agree with and think would interfere
additionally, the current 3 column setup has set an expectation for a feature to progress horizontally and stacking the columns underneath would confuse me as to which status is "next"
